Hill Top Ramblings

Rebuilt

It’s taken about four days, and as Rob said, it’s strong enough to park the Titanic against! The original wall was dry stone and rather undulating, covered in moss and ferns. It was unceremoniously demolished to allow the new pipe work for the septic tank. I think the greenery will re-establish quickly in our climate and I may help it along a bit as the mortar is quite extensive.
It’s certainly not coming down again any time soon!
Fair amount of mud around, as they are digging a soak away. I think/hope that may be the last of the groundwork and a lovely new surface may appear?
Ever the optimist!
