King of The Road

Heavy fog on the Sun Highway, Italy’s A1. Multiple accidents and pile-ups forced the authorities to close the road temporarily. I was at the head end of the accidents and had a three car pileup just behind me. Driving in a line, the car stopped suddenly in front of me. I stopped. The car behind me stopped. The car behind him bumped into the car in front. The next car behind slammed into the two cars behind me. Seems that no one was hurt. In the next mile down the road there was another three accidents. Including this poor Smart car which was demolished. The driver was fine.
