Morning Lightshow

As the sun was coming up behind the Grand Muveran it produced some interesting effects as there was some cloud to reflect off today. The extra shows a pink ribbon of cloud tied around the Dents du Midi after 11 continuous blue sky days. Now we have a clear sky again, the high pressure is showing no signs of shifting so the snow is melting very quickly. This is not a normal winter and if it does not snow again, we shall have water shortages and glaciers shrinking even more in the Alps sadly.
