Tired

Last night’s ice hockey game finished this morning at 01:00 with a 6:3 win for Edinburgh, but Manchester made it tough for them and Edinburgh only looked certain winners in the last 5 minutes.

I was booked on the 10:10 train from Manchester Airport to Edinburgh, so I did not get quite enough sleep. Then lunch in Edinburgh before taking the bus back to my car in the park & ride. 

I was home for 15:30. The rest of the day will be slow and quiet, followed by an early night. 

The Blip is my hotel as I headed for the train. The airport is more convenient for the ice arena (in Altrincham) than the city centre, and the Trans Pennine Express trains from Edinburgh start and finish at the airport anyway.
