River Tay. Perth

I took the bus in to Perth today to meet up with friend L.  She has grandparent duties for much of the week, so time is scarce then.  We enjoyed coffee and a scone at a new to us coffee shop, which used to be a butcher's shop originally and still has the lovely decorative tiles on the walls.  It's now a listed building, so they can't be altered.

With the sun struggling to appear, we sat for a while on a bench by the River Tay and caught up on the chat before a chilly wind forced us indoors again for lunch in the newly refurbished Perth Theatre.  A bit of shopping and it was time to catch the bus home. The rain that had been threatening all afternoon started in earnest on the way, so was delighted to see TJ with the car to meet me at the bus stop.  What a star:-)
