Old in view

This remarkable building is close to where I work. It is a very important Belfast venue, but one with a very different past. The Belfast Empire Music Hall was erected in 1874 for the Reformed Presbyterian Church and then rented to the Irish Evangelical Church The Church left this building in 1971. Today, the history of this great building now used as a music venue is probably unknown to its users.
Like much of this great city. If you scratch the surface you will get some great stories. Don't judge buildings, or people, by exteriors!
