Haul Out

This American Alligator is probably about a year and a half old, and still has her stripes for camouflage. At this size she is still very much in danger of being eaten by larger 'gators. She hauled out of the water and is sunning on a log. 'gators grow at a rate of approx. 1' per year. Beautiful morning at Sweetwater Wetlands Park, here in G'ville. Cloudy, in the mid 70's with a brisk wind trying it's darnedest to blow my hat off my head!
