Christmas lunch

Early start to the day as husband dropped me off on his way to work. Busy morning trying to get through a day's work before we set off for our work Christmas lunch.

Had a very nice meal in a restaurant in town. There was a general feeling that it was probably the end of an era. If there is a Christmas meal next year, most of us are unlikely to be at it.

Retired to a local pub afterwards and had a good evening chatting with friends. Think I left just as it began to get a bit maudlin.
