Sunset at Dane End Scout Camp

As a group of scouting district leaders we had a whole day of updates, planning and outdoor skills training. Amongst other things I learned how to use an axe, some woodland based games and natural printing. Frankly I don’t think I’m a natural with the rather heavy axe but I did well with the hammer and at whittling. A sociable curry afterwards was a good chance to chat and share more ideas too.
