Stripped bare

So, following on from yesterday's shot - this one taken early this morning.  There's a good dozen or so of swan plants absolutely denuded by the tromping march of chomping caterpillars. 

You can just about hear their tiny teeth mouth parts crunching through the foliage.

Golly, but it's hot.  Five more days of this insane heatwave to go.
