Curlew...

The curlew is on of my favourite birds. It's bubbling call heralds spring in my book as they return to the moors. Such a delight to hear their call and such a delight to get a good view of one this morning.

Then off to the water voles again (great sightings) and waiting for a barn owl to show later on (glimpses).
