Choosing a colour for new blinds

A visit to the tip this morning to dump and recycle stuff from the garage clear out. I was admonished by an operative who said photography was not allowed by Kent County Council. I wonder why? I’ve taken photos there before?

Stage 3 of the renovations started today with the decorator beginning the mammoth task of redecorating most of the house. We’re camping in the bedroom for the duration.

Walked into town for a haircut and to look at new vertical blinds as the current set appear very grubby now they’ve been taken down. Provided and opportunity for a blip, trying to choose the colour for the blind from the 1000s available.

Yet again we learned of businesses profiting from government policy. Persimmon Homes made a profit of £1 billion and stood accused of exploiting the government’s Help to Buy subsidy. When will governments work on our behalf rather than seek to support their backers interests? I’m feeling particularly bolshie at the moment. Too many things going on or not being attended to.
