The Helical Staircase .....

.....  that seems to go on and on for ever but the views from the top of the Mackintosh Tower make the climb worth it.

In former times The Lighthouse building in Glasgow was the home of the Glasgow Herald newspaper but in 1999 the building was renamed and became Scotland's Centre of Architecture and Design.

From certain angles the stairs remind me of an eye. The extra photo is the view from the top.
