Carry-on...

The wee lad was hanging on to the Roosters leg and being pulled along the wooden floor...cackling away all the time.

I’m actually not sure if there was a purpose to his hanging on and was actually trying to stop the Rooster from doing something or if indeed it was just a carry on:-)

A full and busy day with a great bunch of folk at the house this afternoon for Es is 18 part deux.

Baking scones and cupcakes before Church...I impressed myself with that. Church, Sunday Club, back to Church for a Children’s Communion service. The children had also been discussing at Sunday Club the names of different parts of the Church, so after Communion they had a chance to take a look up in the Pulpit and then through to the Vestry.

MrR, Uncle Paul and Conor then went to collect the Rooster from rowing. The Fangler and I went to get a few bits and bobs in Lidl.

Home to whisk up some Chantilly cream for the scones and decorate the cupcakes and make the final preparations before our guests arrived.

A great wee afternoon of chat and laughs and again Eilidh was very lucky with the gifts she received.

Grateful to all who attended and made the afternoon so much fun.
