Ladybird Kebab

It's not quite as painful for the ladybird as it looks. Today was supposed to be the last warm sunny day before it turns colder again so I spent most of the day in the garden, mainly weeding and preparing beds. I have a problem in my long and narrow front garden with grape hyacinths and bluebells (the wrong type in the wrong place) but today I found the ground was perfect to be able to prise up the newly growing plants either with the bulb attached or removing the leaves so hopefully the bulb won't be able to grow back. The ladybird was trying to get himself out of the trug before it got tipped into the green bin.
