Sophie On The "Big" Swing

Our normal Wednesday with Sophie, though Rhyme Time this morning was notable for the fact that adults outnumbered children by 4 to 2 and the other little girl was more interested in crawling around the bookshelves; Sophie compensated by participating with greater than usual gusto and the adults enjoyed themselves too.

This afternoon we took her down to the park on her bike. She's very proud that she can now use the big swing although she nearly came a cropper when she was trying to swing her legs back and forth to build up momentum. Once she regained her balance, she made us laugh by saying in a very serious voice "I nearly had a calamity there, Grandma"!
