The last sunrise of a record breaking February.

The sunrise was beautiful this morning at 7.10 am. It came over the horizon just before 7.00 am.
I rushed for my camera, knowing that the weather was about to change as I could see the misty cloud creeping in from the West.
It is 8.23 am and almost uniformly beige/grey and becoming gloomy as I write.
So thankyou February, we have all benefited from the winter respite.
I must go and give our resident blackbird his sultanas. He has appeared outside.
The goldfinches have collected in the rowan tree and the hedge sparrow is singing, or rather performing his "tinkling rapid warble" , to quote Wikipedia!
Time for breakfast and it is raining.
