The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Wednesday 27th February 2019)

Yesterday's sunshine already seems like a distant memory. It was Gardening Wednesday and Refna and I were actually sitting outside in front of the porch to discuss planting and decorating plans.

In the previous week colour had started to appear in the garden after a long period of nothing happening and the blossom was out on the cherry plum. She noticed it looked good against next door's fence so later on I went out to capture it for blip.

I also photographed the narcissi growing along the sidepath border (see Extra).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Bob Dylan - Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat - Take 8 (recorded 14 February 1966, Nashville TN)
Dylan recorded thirteen takes of this song on this day but discarded the intro when he returned to the song on 10 March and used Take 1, the only attempt that day, as the version on Blonde On Blonde. I've been gradually wading through the 18 CDs in the Cutting Edge box since 2015 and finished off writing up the indices in my database on the 27th (with two CDs still to be listened to, which I did the following day).
