Hever Castle

My friend and I spend the day at Hever. We were fortunate with the weather dodging the showers with well timed tea breaks.

The snowdrops were a bit past their best and the daffodils not in full bloom but there was still plenty to see.

We walked to the Japanese tea house and explored the Italianate gardens. The cake was good too (chocolate and ginger).
