Blake Rigg

A Fantabulous day ascending Steel Edge, lunch in just a basé layer and then à descent of a slightly slippy Wetherlam Edge. We finished the day with a walk out through the very atmospheric Blake Rigg Plantation.
All day the weather promised, but never quite managed, to revert to glorious, but it certainly offered plenty of drama, hints of wonder and a sense of being alone in the high mountains.
What more could we want from a Quality Mountain Day.
