Last snow

For this year, anyway.

Packed up and off home this morning, after a little piece of work was shuffled off the premises.

While we’ve been away all the daffodils have come out, but the almond blossom was politely holding off for our return. More work, while Mr B collected bunnies and shopped. Then some subterfuge with TallGirl to get her best friend L to a surprise birthday party. The pretext was that we were going to a party and TG would only go if she could take a friend. So I got my glad rags on, combed my hair, and even put on jewellery and make up (on a Thursday!) Seemed to work!

They are staying over at the party and it will be TG’s first party with boys and booze. She is more anxious about it than us! (Though I stuck to Ovaltine in case of any panicked rescue calls!)
