Multi-level

We went down to Newcastle to participate in a UK Biobank screening. We ‘joined’ 11 years ago and the idea is that people from all over the UK are assessed through their lives both mentally and physically. This time we went for MRI scans, bone density scans and mental tests; from Edinburgh the screening is in Newcastle so we travelled down on a warm day for an afternoon appointment. We decided to stay in a Travelodge in the centre and walk down the Tyne to the centre where everything takes place. It was a very warm day and the first view we got is my blip of some of the bridges that cross the river. The afternoon was quite stressful and full on really and my blood pressure was way worse than normal so that was odd. Afterwards we walked back along the river when the extra was taken. The Gateshead Millennium Bridge is an impressive piece of engineering; a bit like the squinty bridge in Glasgow. After dark it is imaginatively lit up so I made a collage of the different lighting; luckily there was a handy bollard to hold the camera steady.
Yesterday’s blip.
