Riding High to Hawea

What a brilliant morning I had watching the Cavalcade participants in the Grand parade.  There were hundreds of horses, either pulling wagons, or having riders on their backs.  What a fine sight they were, harking back to the 1860's.  Beside the horses, there were cyclists, walkers and even runners!  The extras missed the cut.  By the way, I have walked in 8 Cavalcades, sleeping in woolsheds, marquees or local halls.  The food was always superb.  I think I have done my dash!

This afternoon I went to have a few games of croquet, the games were hotly contested, matching the heat of the sun.

Still have a few more steps to do, so I'll do them now, then put my feet up.
