No Smoking

Sign on the window to the balcony at the doorstep of our office at uni. I'm sure this was put up there quite recently. Smoking is allowed at the balcony at the opposite side of the building.

In Japanese, the word veranda is used for both a roofed and an upper floor platform, whereas it only refers to a roofed platform in English. This is the fourth floor and so I have to use balcony.
