Blue Flowers

We were going to Bishop’s Stortford this morning, but rather than wait quite a long time for a train, we decided to catch the train to Cambridge. Despite not actually needing anything I purchased two cookery books and some other odds and ends. We also had lunch and several stops for coffee.

Today’s picture was taken near Christ’s Pieces and I cannot remember what these little blue flowers are called. It is possible that they are some kind of anemone, but I am sure someone will know what they are.

It was twelve degrees Celsius in Cambridge at noon although it was dull and overcast all day.
