Nos. 26, 27 & 28 Wood Street

I've included the whole building in the next in my onestreet project of Wood Street, Stratford upon Avon.  It comprises three businesses, the Cancer Research charity shop, First Class which is a Turkish barbers, yet another barbers in a town overflowing with them, maybe Turkish is better, I haven't tried it.  This place used to be the Jewelry Workshop. The rest of the building cornering onto Rother Street is Oxfam, a good place I've discovered for Christmas stocking fillers and small birthday gifts.

According to the 1891 census a watchmaker occupied number 26, a tinman (Wizard of Oz?) and brazier number 27 and a chemist and druggist in number 28.

This is the last building on the left hand side (walking away from the town centre) of Wood Street, directly across the road the numbers continue at 29.
