Trois Dames

Dot, Cath and Dd together in Barcelona tonight. Cath is across to visit the surviving Spanish partner of her late Scottish uncle, Dot came along to chum her, and we are very happy to welcome them both. Lovely lunch in the local Basque place, then five hours works for me acting as a clearing house for programme submissions, then dinner up at Casa Joana, which is a long time favourite. The owner Angles' husband has had a recent cerebral bleeding that caused them huge concern and, for him, a temporary loss of mobility. We pray for them all, realising that they feel like close family to us after knowing them for 28 years . . . . in fact, since before they got married.
