Rattles that Soothed

The wind howled all day. I miss how it used to rattle the old bedroom windows, but we replaced those with ones that are sturdy, and hermetically sealed, I think. They keep out the cold, but the rattling was comforting - I missed it today on day two of mostly staying in bed.
