Waiting His Turn

The goldfinches have met their match.  A pair of Blue Tits have set up residence in their usual nest box.  There was such a commotion this morning. There were the regulation 2 goldfinches per feeder, while others waited in the tree.  Suddenly one of the blue tits dived out of the nest box straight into the middle of the gold finches and scattered them all. It than flew back into the nest box.  It seems that the blue tits now rule all of the apple tree and the feeders.
