Soft and White

Warmer, or perhaps, less cold today and overcast, I continued my explorations from yesterday, struggling to find interesting compositions in the flat light. Decided to focus on these dead plants still poking up out of deep snow.

I liked how soft and fluffy they are with just those two leaves providing a touch of hard edged contrast. Perhaps the depth of field is too short at f8, however I wanted to keep the background stalks sufficiently out of focus.
