Look who came to visit us...

on a dark and stormy night with the nut feeder swinging wildly about l suddenly noticed a weird shape about half way down the feeder and thought... is that a mouse?  Having got up carefully to take a look l found it was indeed a little mouse.  I dashed to get the camera.. long lens attached.. kitchen lights turned off ... manual focus... too dark.... Torch.. perfect ... and here the little scrap is for you to say hello to. He remained being buffetted by the wind for about 10 minutes and was not fazed by the bright torch beam being shone straight at him.  When he managed to get a nut out of the feeder he scrambled up on top and at it from his fists on the top of the feeder before descending once more.. fun to watch.
Hold on to your hats.. this Freya has already picked up our bench and parked it on top of the garden table.... l wonder what else will shift in the night...(other than a few more peanuts)
