Preserve the day.

Woke up to a rainy, windy day, the perfect weather to be indoors with my favourite preserving pan.

I'm a big fan of all things pickle, chutney and jam and also having nice jars in the cupboard so today the recipe was Apricot Chutney. This was from RF and, having made it before and given it all away I wanted to have some to use in my lunches.

It is now in its jars and should sit untouched for a while but I'm sure some will be disturbed very soon.

Late this afternoon I went to see the lovely lady and eat her fresh baked sourdough bread with a bowl of soup, yummy.
