Gently does it!

After doing some food shopping in M&S I took a quick visit to the Heritage Park.

I spotted a couple of cormorants drying their wings but they were on the shaded side of the island where it was dark and just too far away. A pair of goosanders but again they were too near the island.

The geese spend their time between the water, the the loch surrounds and the local farmer's field. Today the field was the popular venue but there were one or two Canada Geese on loch patrol.

When I was at the furthest point from the car park the skies darkened and we had a horrible shower of stinging rain and hailstones .... it didn't last too long just long enough to soak all the walkers!
