Sixteen Spot Ladybird

I spotted this tiny ladybird scurrying about on the south-facing wall of number thirteen disused glasshouse. After I had photographed it I found a colony of them perfectly camouflaged amongst some dry grass.

Quite a lot on today so Ollie dog and I didn't get to walk at Hooks Marsh until late. The light had already gone as we were leaving, which was a shame as I photographed a pair of red kites, a sparrowhawk with its pigeon prey and a lovely peacock. The pics are too grainy to post. :(
