The Maldives in Hawaii!

Is this the best kept secret in Alohaland? And so close to home. It was a beautiful day today and we decided to go for a nice long walk along the beach. We normally walk to the left of home, but today we decided to go to the right. What a surprise!!! Well, we walked almost 3 kilometres along the beach and came upon this scene that could easily have been in the Maldives. Stunning!! It turns out that these are fish ponds created by the Hawaiians long ago. The ancient walls still stand. I was in seventh heaven!

And not only. Tiziano cooked a wonderful dinner. Pasta with a shrimp sauce. Angelo came for dinner and it was a very pleasant and culinarily satisfying evening.
