... a little bit cruel and use one of the pics I have of this guy necking his beer from the bottle, but, well ...
It was my first time at this venue, and whilst it is not bad, I was unimpressed by the sound. The guy pictured was the ‘headline’ act, name of Ivan Drever, a combination of damned good guitarist, and a study of the impacts of aging, tobacco and alcohol on the human voice. He’s been around since Adam’s dog was a wee pup, and has reached the stage where he is often known as ‘Kris Drever’s dad’ - but he is quite definitely still himself.

Mind, I was really miffed to discover that Findlay Napier is on next week - and I cannot be there - aaaarrgghh!
