Horgabost

Today was memorable for falling over twice on the beach, requiring help from two others, notably Jane, and for total Immersion of boots, socks, and feet in the sea. Quite unwillingly I might add.

Luckily, I was able to walk around barefoot but my balance seems to have suffered. Am going to bed as soon as I've posted this.

This morning we went out to Huisinis, a designated visitor centre, said to preserve something of the old Machair system. It lies on the isthmus between a pristine sandy beach facing south and a rocky harbour looking north .

After packed lunch we headed to Horgabost where I seemed to go to pieces. Good thing it was a lovely day.
