I must go down to the seas again

Raining! A friend who lives in the village of Cowichan Bay told me a freighter was anchored in the bay. I drove to Cowichan Bay. I photographed standing on the government wharf. The string of lights on the horizon is the freighter.

According to marinetraffic.com the ship anchored in the bay is the Coral Ruby and further down is the CPO Europe both waiting to enter the port of Vancouver.

My maternal grandfather was a sailor. He sailed on the Ganymedes built 1917 scrapped 1959 2,682 tons, owned by Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij, Amsterdam / Royal Netherlands Steamship Co.
