windy wednesday

grey skies and blustery winds is the order of today! The forecast was for thunderstorms too but no sign of any of those yet...

Not a pleasant sight greeted me at our little wildlife pond this morning as I found a frog on his back by the side of the pond with a puncture wound to his throat :(  Wasn't the best way to start the day and seemed very strange.  Will have to keep watch and hopefully no other froggies will suffer the same fate.  Didn't think that would make for a pleasant blip entry either so snapped this lovely daffodil instead!
