It's the beginning of Lent.
I wandered the streets for two hours near the Repair Factory. I have a feeling that the churchgoers in the Dun Laoghaire area breathed a collective sigh of relief. The lunatic with the camera was nowhere to be seen.
I had a brilliant time (flexitime!), met a lot of people, had loads of chats. Only two people politely declined to be photographed.
The Liberties is one of the last areas in the capital that can be described as 110% Dublin. I met some genuinely nice, friendly, funny people today.
