Barrio El Carmen, Valencia

The narrow streets of this part of the north side of Valencia’s central core are a wonder to explore, which I did this morning. This district has many small bars, tapas restaurants, nightclubs and shops throughout and distinctive architecture such as my photo here. Some of the old historical buildings are a bit run down, but this adds to the charm of this place.
