Lisianthus

I never knew that as well as being called Lisianthus, this flower is also called Eustoma. This is from Greek eu = good (as in euphoric) and stoma  = mouth. Good mouth, supposedly because the mouth showed delight in seeing the beauty of the flower and gasped!

Well, they are truly beautiful, I can agree with that!

Again I have to say "Thank you" to the folk who are finding and commenting upon my 10-year blip. A thrill to be first in Popular as I don't tend to boost comments by putting my own replies on.
