ICM AT193

The usual Thursday morning walk into town for Rock Choir. We’re learning “Dreams” by The Cranberries. Lovely song. I’ve also got the uke chords for it too, so you never know! Such a shock that Dolores O’Riordan died so young.

Had lunch in town then drove out to the Bluewater Shopping Centre up near Dartford to buy some birthday presents and to have a meal with son Matthew and Granddaughter at Bella Italia. For a chain it was surprisingly good. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

GD is in Y7 and we looked at a an geography quiz she was asked to complete for homework - I was surprised at the depth of knowledge and understanding of air masses and frontal systems needed to answer the questions. It was on a par with stuff I was teaching at GCSE level in the past.

Ah! Nearly forgot the blip. An entry for Abstract Thursday. What is it? Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
