Overnight…..

The rain was very welcome - only 18mm which isn’t enough to break the drought, but every drop is extremely welcome.  My garden is smiling!

After a busy day which included making fig jam with brandy, fig chutney and Mexican tomato pickle the light was fading and I still needed a photo for blip.

 As you can see, I brought the rain gauge inside along with a freshly picked fragrant bloom from the mandevilla vine.
