Yellow-browed

Breeding in the Russian Urals it is a winter vagrant to Western Europe  and I have to admit I was pretty excited to find it, see it and then even get a shot which was more than tricky.  Being the size of a goldcrest it is quite diminutive in the spruce branches where it hopped and flitted about, staying still for no longer than a second.

The Extra is his sidewards glance before carrying on catching insects in the branches.
