Coach House

...in the backyard of the ophthalmologist’s house, spared by the bombing in WW2. The practice in this place was founded in 1871, the recent owner’s grandparents (both of them were ophthalmologists) took over in 1924, his father in 1958, he himself in 1997.
(Happily no serious results in my case. The pupil dilation granted me a day off spent with listening to an interview with B. Haitink and to some classical music.)
