Cherry Blossom

On a day of almost continual rain I decided to do something with the sprig of blossom I found yesterday.
A piece of black velvet makes a fine background and the vase I brought back from Singapore in 2001.

The forecast is no better for tomorrow but I'm going to an exhibition of quilts in the morning ... no chance of a wet camera lens inside the Exhibition Centre.
