Another Bird Couple

Spring is definitely in the air and the birds are pairing up. I just had time for a walk to the river today and saw 2 pairs of dippers. The females were playing hard to get and flying off up, or downstream, whenever the males came close. Well, I am assuming that was the game. So getting two of them in the same shot was a bonus.

Just came in from the local Alpine Club AGM this evening where Mme President was stepping down. The Swiss are very egalitarian in their clubs even though the last Swiss canton (county) only gave the vote to women in 1991! Happy International Women's Day.
