Millennium Point

We took the train to the big city today, Birmingham.  Although easy enough to get there by train we don't travel here very often.  We met Ann's step daughter Sam at Millenium Point, a modern building holding some Birmingham University departments and the ThinkTank, Birmingham's science museum.  There is also a cafe where we had a drink and chat. The interior of the building is very interesting, see extra, but I like this 'quiet' part of the building where you can watch the passing trains.  The whole area around there is a huge building site as Curzon Street Station is close by, one day to be the terminus station for HS2.
