Money boxes

My apologies if this breaks any blip rules of political correctness or Health and Safety. These money boxes don't quite qualify for inclusion in my occasional series of 'My favourite Objects' but they are interesting curios I have acquired along the way, Humpty Dumpty at a local auction and the Sambo money bank, strangely enough, at a flea market in France. I have memories of the nuns at school collecting for the missions using one of these. We would put our pennies on his hand and operate the lever. Times have moved on. The Sambo bank now, hopefully only retains an historical interest.
